Viola passed from this life to her heavenly home on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at her home in Tyler. She was born July 13th, 1924, in Tyler, Texas to John and Grace Hobbs. She was married to the love of her life, Maynard Miller, June 10, 1943, in Tyler where they resided most of their lives. She got her dream job at 16 as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and worked there for 38 years, retiring as a manager in operator services. After retirement from the phone company, she worked at Rose Heights Church as the bookkeeper.

Her hobbies included traveling, gardening and cooking. She had many fans of her homemade rolls and cinnamon rolls as well as cakes and pies. An invite to her table was always a special treat enjoyed by many She happily passed on her passion of cooking and serv- ing others to her daughter and grandchildren. Viola was preceded in death by her Miller, her parents, John Grace Hobbs, sisters, Gladys Moore and Idell Jeter and brother Alton Hobbs. She is survived by daughter, Regina Smith and hus- band Wyley, granddaughters, Amy Hester and husband Matthew, Jessica Snow and husband Dan, Jana Greene and husband S.E., and 11 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Matthew Hester, Dan Snow, S.E. Greene, Caleb Snow, Zach Hester and Andrew Snow. Honorary pallbearers are Owen-Miller, Ford Lincoln Greene. Visitation is scheduled 5:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, January 24th at Burks Walker Tippit. If desired, memorials may be made to The Hospice of East Texas Foundation.

He will be laid to rest at Henry Cemetery in Gallatin, Texas. Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Mr. Jinkins passed away on January 19, 2022.

He was born in Gallatin, Texas on November 25,1928 to Charlie and Virginia (Redd) Jinkins. He was a member of Gallatin Baptist Church, also a member of the Mason Cherokee Lodge He was a rancher who enjoyed his horses and cows. In his younger days he enjoyed being a hunter and an outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, James Beathard; two sisters and four brothers. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years Janet Jinkins; children Tony Jinkins and wife Elaine of Chapel Hill, Jason Jinkins of Gallatin, Christy Beathard of Rusk, Terry Beathard and wife Lydia of Cushing; sisters, Maye Vaughan and husband Joe Ben of Huntington, Faye Scarborough and husband Van of Lufkin, Pearlene Gary and husbandMorris of Tyler; sis- ter-in-law, Lily Jenkins of Houston.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Terry Beathard, Chris Beathard, Ben Chandler, Ian Chandler, Clyde Jenkins Jr. Charlie Jenkins Honorary pallbearers are his nephews. Shirley Faye Watson FLINT Funeral ser- vices for Shirley Faye Watson, will be held at 3 p.m., on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Kilgore, with Rev. Kelly Brian offici- ating.

Interment will follow in Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, from 2p.m. until 3 p.m. prior to service. Our beloved Shirley Faye Watson, 88, was lifted peacefully on January 19, 2022, at her home in Flint, following a prolonged illness.

She was born in Kilgore, Texas on November 06, 1933, and was preceded in death by her parents, Dora Emina and Golden L. Judd. Shirley was a 1951 graduate of Kilgore High School and was a majorette in the marching band, later receiving a degree in Education from the University of Southwestern, Lafayette. She taught high school Business and English in Louisiana and later in numerous international countries. Shirley played the piano during her teenage years at Hickory Grove Baptist Church.

Everett led the choir (we suspect to see Shirley as much as to serve the congrega- tion). The couple were married October 12, 1951, and re- cently celebrated 70 years together. They enjoyed many adventures living abroad and traveling extensively. Once they retired back home to East Texas, she became a master gardener and took great pride in her yard. Shirley is survived by her loving husband, William Everett Watson, sons and daughters-in-law; Jeff and Dawn Watson of Colorado Springs; Mark Watson, of Flint, and Alton and Lynne Watson of Conroe; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Bobby Joe Wiggins was born April 8, 1939 in Winnsboro, Louisiana. He passed this life January 20, 2022 in Carthage, Texas. Bobbywas the older of two chil- dren born to the marriage of Statton and Lottie Sanders Wiggins. He was raised and schooled in Winnsboro graduating from Fort Necessity High School. He served his country through the U.S.

Army. Bobby married his love Becky Ann Holt October 21, 1961 and they celebrat- ed 60 years of marriage. Mr. Wiggins began working for International Paper in Natchez, MS and spent 30 years raising chickens for Tyson. Along with raising chickens he loved gardening and sharing his bounty with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Wiggins is survived by his loving wife, Becky Wiggins of Beckville; son Curtis Wiggins and wife Kristi of Tyler; daughter, Sherri Watson of Carthage; brother, Kent Wiggins and wife Nita of Tyler; son-in-law, Steven Watson of Carthage; grandchildren, Statton Wiggins of Tyler, Maddox Wiggins of Tyler, Carly Cockrell and husband Derrick of Jaoquin, Will Watson of N.C., Sam Watson of Carthage, and Jake Watson of Georgia; one great-grandchild, Brooks Cockrell of Joaquin; numer- ous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be, Statton Wiggins, Maddox Wiggins, Derek Cockrell, Sam Watson, Jason Thames, Blake Thames, Joey Wiggins, Chris Wiggins and Nickey Wiggins.
