21 in a Tyler hospital. She was born May 4, 1933, in Trinity County to the late Russell Severe and Winnie Lee Lancaster Moren. She lived in Angleton for many years prior to moving to Palestine in 1971. She worked at Presley Crook Pharmacy, was manager at Fabrific Store and later worked as a licensed vocational nurse at Palestine Memorial Hospital. She retired in 1989 and moved to Ratcliff where1 she was a member of Ratcliff Baptist Church and taught Sunday school and sang in the choir.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Billie Dean Conner, Rat- WildaReid WILLS POINT Services for Wilda Marie Reid, 75, Wills Point, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Allan Fuller Funeral Home chapel, Wills Point, with the Rev. Ron Dum-mer officiating. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery near Wills Point. Mrs.

Reid died Nov. 20 in a Dallas hospital. She was bom Dec. 12, 1925, in Belton to the late Charles Ross and Beulah Selby Stratton. She lived in Wills Point for 10 years, -was a homemaker and member of Seven Oaks Baptist Church.

Survivors include sons, Roy Lynn Rogers and John Wesley Rogers; daughters, Pamela Joyce Rogers and Brenda Gail Hood; brother, E.C. Stratton, Dublin; and sister, Wanda Ozlbun, Fruitland, Idaho. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Gilmer. Mr. Massey died Nov. 18 in Dallas. He was born March 10, 1929, in Upshur County where he grew up.

He served in the Army during the Korean War, and lived in Dallas for 30 years where he was a mechanic for city of Dallas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Massey; brothers, Joe Charles Massey and A.P. "Pete" Massey; and sister, Annie Bell Miller. Survivors include son, David Massey, Dallas; daughter, Dianne Werst, Denton; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers are Bobby Massey, Dale Massey, Eddie McKinley, James McKinley, Clay Weidman and Scott Werst.

Hicks, 88, Tyler, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at Tyler Memorial Park with the Rev. Bryan Grant officiating, under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tvler. Mr. Hicks died Nov.

20 in a Tyler hospital. He was born July 3, 1913, in Gib-sland, and lived in Smith County for 27 years. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II, and retired from Civil Service and General Electric as a mechanic foreman. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church, a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge and member of Woodmen of the World. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Pearl Hicks in 1992, and daughter, Barbara Baker.

Survivors include son, Jimmy Hicks, Burnet; daughter, Rosemary Brown, Midland; sisters, Gracie Mildred Hicks and Syble Hines, both of Shreveport, Odelle Miller, Min-den, Evelyn Spurlock, Arcadia, and Myra Bickford, Richmond, four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Saturday at Starrville Church of the Living God with Elder Rickey John fOct 28,192 KIMBROUGH Alto to the late John and Delsia I Bradley, and lived in Tyler for 50 years. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, and attended Prairie View Univer-i sity where she was a member of the Marching Band and the Prairie 'View Co-Eds Orchestra. She later obtained her master's degree from jPrairie View University, and 'rwas an elementary school music teacher for Tyler Independent School District. She was a Golden Life member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority and for- mer president of the Tyler Alumni Chapter, member of Rose Bud Civi-' tans, Bella Donnas and Rammblops.

She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, and active in Buffalo Soldiers and Texas Retired Offi- j'cers Association. She was preceded 1 in death by her husband, James D. Kimbrough. James Seamon Mass for James Hugh Seamon, 63, St. Charles, formerly of Tyler, was celebrated 10 a.m.

Tuesday at St. Peter Catholic Church of St. Charles, Mo. Burial was in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, under direction of Baue Funeral Home, St.

Charles, Mo. Mr. Seamon died Nov. 16 in a St. Charles, hospital.

He was born in the St. Louis, area where he grew up and attended school. He moved to Tyler after graduating from high school, and received his bachelor's and 'master's degrees from University of Texas at Austin. In 1965 he moved to St. Louis, where he worked for Missouri Pacific Railroad.

He 'later moved to Maryland where he worked with National Transportation Research Board in Washington, D.C. He moved to St. Charles, in 1977 and retired in the mid-1990s. He then became a transportation planner for East-West Gateway Coordinating Council. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jeanette A.

Gollob Seamon, St. Charles, daughter, Anne M. Gliedt, St. Louis, sons, Maj. John T.

Louis, Mo. 63110. Wilma Crow Services for Wilma Jean Crow, will be held at a later date; arrangements under direction of Advantage Mortuary Services, Tyler. Mrs. Crow died Nov.

19 at her residence. She was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Oklahoma. She was a waitress. Survivors include son, John Crow, Williamsburg, daughter, 'Billie Jean Moore, Tyler; seven grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.

East Texas Funerals Lovie Ross ALTO Services for Lovie Jane Ross, 81, Alto, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Chapel AME Church of Alto with the Rev. Chester Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in St.

Thomas Chapel Cemetery under direction of O.T. Allen Son Funeral Home, Alto. Mrs. Ross died Nov. 16 in Alto.

She was born July 26, 1920, in Rusk County to the late Leonard and Lonnie Eubanks Freeney, and was a lifelong resident of Alto. She was a homemaker and worked as a presser for Kennedy Dry Cleaners in Alto for many years. She was a member of St. Thomas Chapel AME Church and was president of Federation of Choirs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Ross, and son, Jerry Ross.

He was born Nov. 8, 1923, in San Augustine to the late Lester and Mary Beasley Pinkston. He served in the Army during World War II, and was a self-employed truck driver. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Frances Ferguson Pinkston on Feb. 4, 1988.

Mrs. Brooks died Nov. 19 in Tyler. She was born July 3, 1905, in Smith County to the late Daniel and Leora Wheeler. She attended Smith County public schools and was a member of Mount Zion CME Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Brooks, and six children. Survivors include sons, Alvin Brooks and Finist Brooks, both of Tyler; daughters, Erma Berry and Lovie Butler, both of Winona, Wyomia Williams, Kilgore, Altha Moore, Tyler, and Betty London, Longvjew; 69 grandchildren; 117 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Biggs died Nov. 18 in a Lufkin nursing home. She was born Nov. 25, 1910, in Cuero, to the late Samuel Edward and Edna Viola Wilborne Thigpen. She lived in Sinton 1935-2000 when she moved to Lufkin.

She retired as a bookkeeper from People Lumber Co. in Sinton, and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Sinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Biggs. Survivors include son, Gerry Biggs, Lufkin; sister, Irene Thigpen Patton, Cuero; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Andrew died Nov. 1 9, 2001 at his residence in Tyler. He was born Oct. 19, 1926, in Archer City and lived in Tyler most of his life.

He was a veteran of World War II, fought in Pearl Harbor, and was a Seaman Second Class in the Navy. He retired from Lone Star Gas and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his mother, R.V. McCaghren; father, Hiram Marshall Andrew; and sister, Betty Sanders. Kenneth Meadows officiating, (under direction of Hilliard Funeral Van. i Mrs. White died Nov. 21 in a iNorth Carolina nursing home. She was born June 8, 1913, in Jlillsboro.

She moved to Van in the 1930s where she lived most her life, moving to North Carolina in 1995. She was a homemaker and member Sof First Baptist Church of Van. She preceded in death by her husband, A.D. White in 1982. Survivors include daughter, Sharon Edwards, Cary, N.C.

20. She was born in Gilmer to the late Johnnie and Mamie Tye. She was director of Careers' Unlimited School of Cosmetology and also co-owner of a beauty shop. For the last several years she worked for Country Pickens. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Judson, and was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Hobbs.

Survivors include daughters, Tyejuana Boone and Janet Davis, both of Winona; Laura Bickel, McK-inney, and Margie Smith, Gilmer; son, Bryan Hobbs, Lone Star; and nine grandchildren. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She retired after 25 years as a department manager at Montgomery Ward's, Tyler. She had also worked at J.B. White's in Troup and owned and operated Casey's Gifts in Troup Mrs. Casey was a Baptist. She married Donnie Weldon Casey, Jan.

20, 1945, in Tyler. He preceded her in death, May 2, 1996. Survivors include two dauqhters and sons-in- school in the Texas towns of Orangedale, Calallen, Bishop, Beeville and Big Spring, retiring early upon movinq to Arkansas in 1961. Christina's older brother, Dean H. Fowler, preceded her in death as well as an infant sister, Josephine.

Christina is survived by her younger brother, Leslie E. Fowler of San Diego, a daughter, Lou Anne Smoot of Tyler, son, Bill Parsons of Los Angeles, and son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Mary Helen Parsons of Elon, N.C, along with grandchildren Billy and Stephen Smoot of Tyler, David Smoot of Friendswood, Laura Smoot of Austin, Lucien Parsons of Washington, D.C. and John David and Catherine Christina Parsons of Elon, N.C. Christina's life has also been blessed by two great-grandchildren, Alexandra Pearson-Smoot and Noah Smoot. Desiring to serve humanity even after death, Christina made arrangements many years ago to.

donate her body for medical education and research to The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. A memorial service led by Dr. Rex Horne is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock, Ark.
